DWÓR W MOŚCIBRODACH
Mościbrodzki folwark powstał prawdopodobnie w 1. połowie XIX w., gdy teren ten należał do Józefa Jarząba. Ok. 1848 r. wzniesiono tu dwór, budynki gospodarcze i czworaki. Zabudowania były otoczone sadami oraz parkiem krajobrazowym, który przylegał do rozległego kompleksu stawów hodowlanych. W 1863 r. za udział w powstaniu styczniowym dobra Andrzeja Jarząba, poległego w bitwie pod Siemiatyczami, zostały skonfiskowane, a cztery lata później trafiły w ręce gubernatora siedleckiego gen. Zachara Maniukina zwanego katem Podlasia. Po nim w majątku do 1915 r. gospodarzył jego syn, rtm. Mikołaj Zacharewicz Maniukin.
W 20-leciu międzywojennym posiadłość była dzierżawiona przez Stanisława Glogera, dbającego głównie o rozwój stawów. W czasie II wojny światowej we dworze stacjonował oddział niemieckiej policji, potem folwark został upaństwowiony i podporządkowany Państwowemu Gospodarstwu Rybackiemu. Zabudowania stopniowo popadały w ruinę, stawy zarastały, a z dawnego parku wycięto wiele dorodnych drzew...
Losy dworu w Mościbrodach uległy odmianie, gdy w 2001 r. trafił on w ręce prywatnych właścicieli, których ambicją było odtworzenie majątku zgodnie z jego oryginalnym wyglądem. Dbałości o detale architektoniczne towarzyszyła troska o odrodzenie w tym miejscu dawnego ducha ziemiańskiego. Dziś dwór w Mościbrodach, odrestaurowany i starannie utrzymany, skłania do refleksji nad smutnym losem wielu innych siedzib podlaskich rodów, wciąż jeszcze czekających na wskrzeszenie i przywrócenie im minionej świetności.

Kesz umieszczony jest od strony drogi. Nie musisz wchodzić za płot czy też bramę. Skrytka na starcie zawiera logbook, coś do pisania oraz przedmioty na wymianę. Sąsiedzi wiedzą o naszej zabawie. Dwór i folwark wpisane są do rejestru zabytków i są ogólnodostępne w ciągu dnia. Nie są pobierane żadne opłaty za wstęp i zwiedzanie czy spacerowanie wokół dworu. Właściciele wyrazili zgodę.

DWÓR W MOŚCIBRODACH
The Moscibrody Castle was probably founded in the first half of the 19th century, when this area belonged to Józef Jarząb. Ok. In 1848, a manor house, outbuildings and foursome houses were erected here. The buildings were surrounded by orchards and a landscape park, which adjoined the extensive complex of breeding ponds. In 1863, for the participation in the January Uprising, the good of Andrzej Jarząb, who died in the battle of Siemiatycze, was confiscated, and four years later Gen. Zachar Maniukina, the governor of Podlasie, was handed over to the Governor of Siedlce. After him, his son, rtm, hosted him on the estate until 1915. Mikołaj Zacharewicz Maniukin.
In the interwar period, the property was leased by Stanisław Gloger, who mainly cared about the development of ponds. During World War II, a German police unit was stationed at the court, then the farm was nationalized and subordinated to the State Fisheries Farm. The buildings gradually fell into disrepair, the ponds were overgrown, and many beautiful trees were cut out of the former park ...
The fate of the mansion in Mośbrodów changed when in 2001 it came into the hands of private owners, whose ambition was to recreate the property in accordance with its original appearance. Attention to architectural details was accompanied by concern for the revival of the former landowner's spirit in this place. Today, the mansion in Mośbrodach, restored and carefully maintained, makes us reflect on the sad fate of many other residences of Podlasie families still awaiting the resurrection and restoration of their past glory.
About the cache
The cot is placed on the side of the road. You do not have to go behind a fence or gate. The locker at the start includes a logbook, something to write and exchange items. The neighbors know about our fun. The manor and farm are entered in the register of monuments and are publicly available during the day. There are no fees for admission and sightseeing or walking around the manor. The owners agreed.
