This cache is placed here in memory of my mom, Elizabeth. This was her favorite beach and loved being here with family and friends for beach fires, BBQ, breakfast made on the open flames or a grill and of course just visiting, while watching boats pass by or feeling the sun on her face. She also loved when her grandkids were able to make it down, of which she had many, and had so much fun watching them explore the beach and tidal areas. She passed away in May, 2019. She had a profound effect on everyone she met throughout her life. She was loving, compassionate, and a generous person, loved traveling and going to new places. She taught us all how to just "be". Many laughs and great conversations were had at the fire pits adjacent to this cache. I will never forget the times spent here, that at the time just seemed like another day at the beach. Never pass up an opportunity to spend time with loved ones and always appreciate the little things like the joy of flying a kite. This is a great spot to do that.
