Koornang Park is the east end of this long green patch in the City of Glen Eira. To the west is Lord Reserve where the Lord Lehmann's swamp cache was - close to the Soccor / Cricket fields. In the middle is the popular Caulfield Memorial Swimming pool that is open between November and April each year.
Australian Football is played at this end and the pavilion closeby is known locally as the Bear Cave as it is home to the Caulfield Bears Football Club. This area was a swamp and was going to be the water supply to the failed Sugarbeet Mill which was built by the infamous William Rosstown, whose name features also on the Rosstown Rail Track.
The number 67 tram route terminates just around the corner - and it is this tram and other images that appear on the murals depicted at GZ. - The Tony Sowersby Mural Group painted the images kindly donated by South East Water - as there is a semi water treatment plant here that has now been camouflaged.
So some of the images feature here as some cachers may come here at night and not quite appreciate them!
The cache - you are looking for a camouflaged micro cache - BYO pen and please use stealth as the cache is close to a road and car park. Replace the cache and log as best as you can - as you found them. FTF went to Riddell - a solo find .
