PLEASE CLOSE THE CONTAINER TIGHTLY AND REPLACE IN THE HIDING SPOT SO THE LOG WILL STAY DRY. We placed this container and came back 2 weeks later to check on it. Despite several of inches of rain, the container had no moisture in it and the log was dry. Please help keep it that way!
When we travel, we love a pit stop that allows us to empty out, fill our gas tank, grab a snack AND grab a quick, easy cache. We hope this cache fits the bill for you as travel along I-40. Muggles should be the only problem you encounter here. There is parking for cars close by. We suggest you don't park in the truck parking area. Please watch your step as we've seen several travelers walking their dogs in this area.
If you could take the time to include in your log where you are traveling from and to, we would appreciate it. We hid this cache knowing many of our geocaching friends would be traveling the stretch of interstate heading to GeoWoodstock 2019 in Ft. Worth.
