Geocache Description:

Southwold is a charming north Suffolk seaside town on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Almost an island, being bounded by the North Sea to the East, by the River Blyth and Southwold harbour to the South–West and by Buss Creek to the North, there is just the one road in to and out of Southwold, approached through neighbouring Reydon.

Southwold is a wonderful place to visit and explore try taking a walk along the pier to see the amazing clock, a walk along the prom or down the harbour. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy Southwolds unique ambience.

To find the cache you will need to visit the posted coordinates which will be at the Southwold Town sign. Located on the the front of the town sign you will find a year ABCD. Located on the back of the sign you will find another year EFGH. You will now have 8 digits in total ABCDEFGH.

Please use the following formula N52 A (C + D).B(A+D)(H-G) E001 (B-D)F. DHF in order to find the cache

If anybody would like to expand the Village Sign Series, please do. I would ask that you let Smokeypugs know first at so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
