Geocache Description:

A Geocache hidden in Maybury State Park.

You’re looking for a large well hidden cache with a small container on the bottom located a short distance north of Pond Hiking Trail and south of the Equestrian (Horse) Trail.

Take your pick of which way to get there.

Maybury State Park is almost 1000 acres of woodlands, hills and meadows located in Northville Township, Michigan, south of 8 Mile Road between Beck and Napier Roads. Maybury State Park gives people in the Detroit metropolitan area an opportunity to participate in outdoor recreation activities in a nearby state park setting. The park introduces people to the natural features of the environment with many paved and unpaved pathways and trails to guide them. Interpretative signs and kiosks help educate them about the natural wonders surrounding them. In addition to hiking, running, bicycling, mountain biking and horseback riding, there is also a pond with fishing docks, a riding stable, picnic shelters and a day camp facility. Maintained cross country skiing trails are also available with winter snow cover. Modern restrooms are available year round.

A Michigan Recreation Passport is required on vehicles entering this park.
