London Event @ 10 - Southbank Beach Event Cache

Bring your buckets and spades, this event takes place on a the sandy beach at the Southbank! Meet and greet here at low tide, 5pm to 8pm, Monday 29th July 2019. 

Every summer the London Event is hosted outside for a picnic in a park, this one is going to be special as it is the 10th anniversary and on a lovely beach!  At low tide a pristine sandy beach at this location appears from under the River Thames, perfect for Londoners to roll out the beach towels and roll up the shirt sleeves and trouser legs. Bring your picnic and a towel to meet up with other geocachers for a good geochat, exchange of Trackables and a top-up of the tan! Do note there are steep and slippery steps down to the beach, please take extreme care especially with young ones. There are plenty of cafes and street kitchens offering take-away food on the bank. The Southbank Theatre have public toilets nearby. Come on down and we will see you at our sand castle, rain or shine!
