Geocache Description:

Christmas Wish List – 2000

Now that we've gotten older, my kids started creating their own Christmas list.  Some of these new toys are now electronic and here is what they and their friends have asked for when surveyed.

Why you can never have just a single toy, my oldest had a friend that had four Bratz dolls, when the two of them played, the friend never really shared the dolls.  I'm not sure what the Bratz dolls were named but I do believe three of them were named Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade.  As my kids got older XBOX was popular; wow I wish I had gotten them an XBOX as I'd probably still be playing now.  I think during some Christmas my youngest mentioned that eight of her friends had an XBOX and why did we just have a Wii.

Then my youngest wanted some Zhu Zhu Pets.  It started out with Grandma buying three of them for her.  Eventually some other relatives bought more and she had eight of those little bugger mousey wheels things that would zoom around.  My dog used to bark at them and eventually ate one I think as I could never find it.

My sister went the other route with her kids and eventually bought eight goats and seven chickens.  I remember giving them five hatchimals.  Those were crazy little critters.  Some of the other kids wanted some Fingerlings so for sure each of the two needed a Fingerling.

Then there was the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card phase.  I think every kid no matter how old or how young gets into a kick of cards to collect.  It started with a single pack but soon we were at Woodmans buying nine packs or more with some money from Grandpa.  iPad later came along and that was fun.  We once found a game that could be played by four players. Can't remember that name and it was not head bandz.  In another Chirstmas we did add some games to the Wii.  Of the three games we bought, I loved playing dance dance revolution. Yes I'd get my butt kicked by some younger family member but I wouldn't go down without a fight.
