Geocache Description:



Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, using a flying disc similar to a Frisbee. The object is to complete each hole in the fewest throws. A golf disc is thrown from a tee area/pad to a target which is commonly an elevated metal basket. Most disc golf parks are free to play and only require you to bring your own discs. Lost discs if found are returned to owner, and not finders keepers. There is a community of disc golfers much like geocaching, who they like the outdoors and are friendly. It's this community that has built and maintains the disc park.
