SOUTH
This is about as south as a geocache can be on the mainland of New Zealand, without being on private property anyway. You can walk down to Slope Point from the carpark, just down the road from here - about a 20 minute walk if you walk slowly (or about a 10 minute walk if it's blowing a freezing gale!) - and stand at the very southern tip of the South Island.
This cache is a small clear 100ml waterproof screwtop container, with a log book and some coins for trading. It would be great to trade international coins at this spot that attracts lots of international visitors. BYOP.
