A couple of decades ago, there was a store here where you could by words...lots of words! I would stop in on my lunch hour to peruse the shelves for collections of words to take home with me. Usually I looked for technical words, but on occasion I would buy a leisurely collection of words. At this point in my life, I was really into puzzles, and word puzzles in particular. One day, the owners of the word store decided that they weren't selling enough words. Perhaps it was because there weren't enough people visiting the word store or maybe they needed more space for shelves. In any case, they decided to close the word store at this humble location and open a newer, bigger word store about three miles further up the highway. This was undoubtedly a good idea, because many people visit the new word store everyday and find wonderful collections of words to take home with them.
