Geocache Description:

This is an easy micro cache in an evolving park with flat terrain. Easy accessibility for kids, strollers and probably wheelchairs too. Park hours are dawn to dusk.

This is our first cache. My first cache find was a simple and well done micro cache and in the spirit of that one we hope this is too. This is a theme cache and we would like finders to respect the theme. It is for trading pins such as Rose Festival pins, military crests, Disney pins, and my favorite, motorcycle pins.

We are starting our Haunted Mansion TB in this cache. He is from Disney World and would like to see his counter part in Disneyland and then return to the northwest.

There are three waypoints to find. The first two containers are about the size of a deck of cards, the title should tell you what to look for, mostly camo painted. The final is 8? x 4? x 1 ¼? so there is not much room for anything larger than the pins.

The coordinates will take you to the first container and it will have an encrypted hint for the next and so on. We wanted to make this challenging enough for experienced cachers and easy enough for less experienced. If you use the hints it will be very easy. Without them it will be fairly challenging. Satellite reception in the park is for the most part very good, less so at the final but if you go slowly you will have no problems. There is no bushwhacking required to do this cache.

This is a nice little park with some construction going on for new tennis courts. Access and parking is good from the east, west, and especially from the north. There are wetlands here that you must respect and do not need to bother to find the cache. There is playground equipment, picnic tables, basketball courts, lots of paved trails to explore, and a long paved trail running through the park. The only bathroom as of now is a large porta potti. There is a drinking fountain near the tennis court construction. Explore the park, view the pond and see lots of friendly wildlife around the area. Watch out for golf balls and falling apples.

We used ideas from many other caches we have found and enjoyed and if you see a part of yourself in our cache we thank you. Have fun and let us know how we might improve this or our next cache.

See the picture for what?s in the cache. I have put a geocaching patch in for a first finder gift as an incentive. Also there is a disposable camera in the cache to record yourselves at the find.
