Geocache Description:

Cache located .78 miles from the parking area at trailhead of Harbor Mountain Ridge.

As the crow flies, it’s only .78 miles to the cache from the parking area, but count on a 45-50 minute hike.
Locals know there’s a road to the parking area, so SEEK LOCAL KNOWLEDGE if you are visiting here!
Less than 10 minutes on the trail gets you above tree line, and if the day is clear the views are tremendous and incredible! If not, grey is the color of the day, and you'll be wet!
Sitka Sound is visible to the West.
As you progress down the trail towards Harbor Mountain Ridge you’ll walk through alpine meadows, and a small bonsai forest!
At the fork in the trail, take it! (see hints)
You should have great GPS reception standing in the open near the cache. Rest and let it settle for a minute.
You’ll see a scree slope you need not traverse, and a cliff you need not descend.
You’ll have to look close for this ammo can. Although it is true blue, it is hiding from you.
This may be the most challenging cache in Sitka so far!
Take rain gear, the weather is unpredictable, and it can be colder here than in town!
