This cache is along the Swan River Walk/Bike path that runs alongside Swan River Rd. It's a short path, but offers some beautiful views of the Swan Range. There is no parking along the way and their is a fair amount of traffic during commuter times. This cache is about 3/4 mile from the suggested parking. A nice walk or a quick bike ride.
The name of this cache is in honor of a few Flickers I see whenever I walk here. They often give me that flash of orange as they fly away. Lots of other feathered friends along this rout as well.
