Bei meinen vielen Wanderungen auf Gozo fand ich 2016 diesen einsamen Pfad und ...einen markierten Kletterfelsen! Offiziell benannt nach dem benachbarten Sandstrand Daħlet Qorrot bietet der Fels 23 Kletter-Routen mit Schwierigkeitsstufen von 3 bis 9.
Der Cache kann aus zwei Richtungen gesucht werden. Die längere Strecke (800 m) führt von Nadur - San Blas zum Ziel und ist auch mit dem Bus erreichbar. Aus der anderen Richtung ist der Cache am ehesten mit einem Fahrzeug machbar. Parken ist am Strand von Daħlet Qorrot möglich, dann ca. 300 m die Straße wieder bergauf und auf den Weg abbiegen. Dieser ist privat und für kein motorisiertes Fahrzeug erlaubt! Je nach Jahreszeit gibt es Disteln, Dornen und niedrig wuchernde Macchia-Gewächse wie wilde Kapernsträucher oder Wilden Thymian. Also lange Beinkleider empfehlenswert!
Bringt etwas Zeit mit! Nebenbei könnt ihr zwei weitere Caches besuchen.

english version: During my many hikes on Gozo, in 2016 I found this remote trail and a marked climbing rock. Officially named after the neighbouring sand beach Daħlet Qorrot, this rock offers 23 climbing routes with grades from 3 to 9.
The cache can be searched from two directions. The longish hike (800 m) leaves from Nadur, San Blas to the target point and is also reachable by bus. From the other direction the cache is best accessible by car. Parking is possible at Daħlet Qorrot beach. From there you walk about 300 m up the street and turn into the path. It’s private and not allowed for any vehicle! Depending on the season, thistles, thorns, wild thyme and rampant caper bushes might get your way. Long leg wear is indicated.
