Geocache Description:

11 June 2019, 17:00 - 20:30

June's CCC Nite Out will be held at the WIndsor Boat Launch. This launch is next to Bart’s Drive-In Restaurant in Windsor.

You can bring your own picnic basket and dine in the park or you can get dinner at Barts Drive In.

When: Tuesday, June 11, 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm

Where: 55 Palisado Avenue, Windsor, CT 06095
Hosts: SamtheSoccerDog
The activities will include an early evening paddle for those who can bring canoes or kayaks. Take a lazy trip up the Farmington River and back to Bart’s. The restaurant’s kitchen closes at 8:00 pm so arrive early if you want to feast on Bart’s Famous Hot Dogs. You are encouraged to bring a dessert, salad, hors d'œuvre, or your own beverage. Bring your chair or picnic blanket for the grass. There are also picnic tables.

The Soccerdogs will provide a shuttle service starting at 4:00pm for those who want to come early and paddle down to the event. Drop your kayaks/canoes at the launch at Strawberry Hills Open Space (River Street off of Rte 75 in Poquonock) and then drive your car down to Barts. We will then drive you back to Strawberry Hills. The trip down river should take less than 2 hours.  Contact us if you are interested.

The Central Connecticut Cacher’s (CCC) Nite Out is an evening gathering on the first, or second Tuesday of every month (well, most months anyway- the date may vary). Mark your calendars! Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher. We love to meet those that are new or interested in this great hobby! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted. This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid and Miles Stone (KD&MS). As host, you’ll arrange a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee, and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.
