Jack Tramiel lub Jacek Trzemiel (wg innych źródeł Idek Tramielski) urodzony w Łodzi w 1928r. zmarł w 2012r. w Monte Sereno. W Łodzi przeżył dzieciństwo i prawie całą wojnę. W 1947 wyemigrował do Stanów Zjednoczonych. Po kilku latach założył własną firmę Commodore Portable Typewriter (słyszeliście gdzieś tę nazwę?) W połowie lat 70 firma wypuszcza swój pierwszy komputer, a w 1982 powstaje Commodore 64. W 1983 Jacek zakłada nową firmę, kupuje od Time Warner firmę Atari Inc i tworzy kolejne topowe komputery: Atari 65XE i Atari ST.

Jack Tramiel or Jacek Trzemiel (according to other sources Idek Tramielski) was born in Łódź in 1928, he died in 2012 in Monte Sereno. In Łódź, he experienced childhood and almost the entire war. He emigrated to the United States in 1947. After a few years, he started his own company Commodore Portable Typewriter (you've ever heard that name?) In the mid-1970s, the company releases its first computer, and in 1982 startd to produce Commodore 64. In 1983, Jacek establishes a new company, purchases Atari Inc. from Time Warner and creates another top computers: Atari 65XE and Atari ST.

Park Ocalałych, w którym się znajdujesz upamiętnia osoby, które przeszły przez Ghetto Litzmannstadt (Łódzkie Getto) - Jacek trafił tam w wieku 10 lat i spędził prawie 5 lat. Z getta został przewieziony do niemieckiego obozu koncentracyjnego Auschwitz gdzie doczekał wyzwolenia obozu.

Park Ocalałych in which you are located commemorates people who passed through the Ghetto Litzmannstadt (Lodz Ghetto) - Jacek got there at the age of 10 and spent almost five years. He was transported from the ghetto to the German concentration camp Auschwitz where he was liberated from the camp.
