Welcome to Old Town Snohomish here on 1st Street! If you have not visited this historical town, now is the time. I’ve been wanting to create this Multi-Clue Mystery Cache for about 15 years so here it is! If you have found any of my other mystery caches, this one will be just as fun! Enjoy!! And start early!!
This Multi-Clue Mystery Cache which you will be searching for will take you along 1st Street in Downtown Snohomish. All of the clues (physically) can be found only between AVE ‘D’ and Union AVE while walking the sidewalk on both sides of the street looking up, down, around or across the street. Note the Posted Coordinates and Virtual Waypoint #1 Collect all the Clues which will give you coordinates to the cache. When you locate the cache which is an ammo canister, all you will need to bring with you is a marble. Yes, only a marble. Place your marble inside the container provided in the canister and take one of the hundreds of blue marbles out of the container provided in the canister. That is your cache trade. A marble trade is not required but please sign the log book. Travel Bugs and small trinkets are welcomed but space in ammo canister is limited. Please contact me for help or clues that may need to be revised due to changes to the down town area. Note: (X) and/or (Y) represents the number of each clue you will be looking for.
Clue ‘A’:
Find the street corner. What is the name of the Iron Works? Count the letters in the name of the Iron Works. Remember the Rules from above and if the first letter of this clue is not represented as a Roman Numeral, than you need to look again.
The number of letters in the name (X) - 3 = Clue ‘A’
Clue ‘B’:
Stop for a drink of water. When we think, say or do, how many things should we be tested on?
That number (X) + 1 = Clue ‘B’
Clue ‘C’:
Stop Here at The Concordia Creamery Company. Slow your speed down to what MPH?
That number (X) / 5 +1 = Clue ‘C’
Clue 'D’:
“What’s your Location Good Buddy?” CB APCO Code.
Find the business and count the letters in the first word of the business name. (X)
(X) - 4 = Clue ‘D’
Clue ‘E’:
Find Snohomish’s old movie theater. How many windows are on the second floor facing the street? (X)
The number of windows (X) = Clue ‘E’
Clue ‘F’:
Find the Parthenon. What’s the address? Add the first number to the last number of the address and add 2.
Address: X##Y (X + Y + 2) = Clue ‘F’
Clue ‘G’:
Find the old NBH. What's the Address? Add all 4 numbers together. That number represents (X).
(X) - 5 = Clue 'G'
Clue ‘H’:
This Building reminds me of the Dog or Puppy Chow's Logo.
How many letters are in Papa's full name? That number represents (X).
(X) - 8 = Clue 'H"
Clue ‘I’:
Find the place where the New Testament (One of the Four Gospels) meets a Pre 17th Century Roman or Latin Allograph. (This may or may not be your toughest clue) Count the number of letters in the word with the Allograph (X).
(X) = Clue ‘I’
Clue ‘J’:
Find the very very very large "OW" Locate its Snohomish Historical Significance. Use that number.
That number represents (X).
(X – 2) = Clue ‘J’
Clue ‘K’:
Many of the buildings on 1st Street show the original store front entry floor tiles. Find the two hand prints below the two stars. Locate the store front entry and read the words on the tiles. What was the original store at this location? Count the letters in that single short word that describes the business (X).
(X) = Clue ‘K’
Clue ‘L’:
Sherlock Holmes had a sidekick. Find his location and the historical business associated. Count the letters in this type of business (X).
(X) = Clue ‘L’
Clue ‘M’:
What time is it? It may not be the correct time but it works. Find the clock and find its Year Date.
Subtract the first number from the last number. Y##X (X –Y) = Clue ‘M’
Clue “S”:
Stop at the American Legion. Check out the Legion Memorial Mural on the side of the building. How many Yellow upright Bollard’s are directly close out in front of it? Include the sign. (X)
(X) = Clue ‘S'
Clue ‘E’ - Clue ‘K’ = Clue ‘N’
Clue ‘M’ - Clue ‘F’ = Clue ‘P’
Clue ‘G’ - Clue ‘L’ = Clue ‘R’
Clue ‘S’ - Clue ‘D’ = Clue ‘T’
Clue ‘I’ - Clue ‘A’ = Clue ‘W’
The cache is located at the following coordinates using the Clues provided. Location:

Don’t doubt or be fooled by your calculations.
And please do not mention in your log comments any info or hints on the location of the cache.
