The purpose of the cache is to promote the Greater Harrington Historical Society museum awareness (some people don't know Harrington has a museum).
The cache is a quick park & grab, but please, do take the time to explore the museum. Behind the museum is a parking lot with a donation tile wall. It's incredible to see who and what organizations over the years have supported the Historical Society.

The museum is open on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 2pm to 4pm and by appointment and is located at 108 Fleming Street. Call 398-3698 or email societyharringtonhistorical@yahoo.com for more information or to make an appointment. Doug Poore is the museum curator
The Old Church has been approved by the State of Delaware as a historic structure and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
