Geocache Description:

Weald village lies immediately south of Sevenoaks, there are regular bus service to/from Sevenoaks and Tonbridge; both these towns have mainline rail stations. There is street parking available around the village and along the route is Hanging Bank car park. The series can be walked from Hanging Bank car park ie in reverse without any major issues of back-tracking.

The Greensand Way is a long-distance path of 108 miles (174 km) going from Ham Street in Kent to Haslemere in Surrey. The trail was opened on 15 June 1980 and is jointly managed by Surrey and Kent Councils.

It follows the Greensand Ridge along the Surrey Hills and Chart Hills. This section which travels to the west is mostly rural, passing through woods with many great views. Further to the east there are fruit orchards and hop farms.

The Greensand Way passes through the village just North of St George’s parish church.

This series is mainly on footpaths but it follows a quiet but narrow road for a short distance. When I walked the route there were sheep and cattle in several of the fields and you will pass through a farmyard; the terrain undulates but is relatively easy walking.

There is a mixture of Traditional And Multi caches, please don't forget to bring your own pen or pencil.

If you follow the first loop, it is possible to return to the village, this requires a short walk along a quiet road, please be especially careful if you have children and/or pets.

Starting at the Church gates walk up the hill towards the bus shelter, the footpath starts behind the shelter. Follow the hedgerow until the path starts to go downhill, the route goes slightly to the right towards the wooden bridge. You can collect ‘The Tree Trail #5, They’re All Mighty’ cache in this area. On the far side of the bridge, the path continues up the hill and goes slightly to the right; walk towards the gate and pass through onto a concrete road. Walk almost straight on past the Oast House, on your right, and through the footpath gate on the right. In a short distance the route turns left between a bungalow and some farm buildings and descends across a large field bearing slightly right.

You are looking for a small container containing a film cannister, the container is large enough for small trackables
