Geocache Description:

PLEASE STAY ON MARKED TRAILS AND DO NOT HIKE UP THE HILL FROM THE PARKING LOT. THE HILL IS UNDER RESTORATION. THIS CACHE MAY NOT BE ACCESSIBLE WHEN THERE IS SNOW.

The Westwood Nature Center is a gem of a space in St. Louis Park, with a BRAND NEW interpretive center as of August 2020.  Filled with wildlife, a small lake and plenty of walking trails.

NOTE: Please use the nature center established trails to get to this cache and avoid walking directly up & down the hill - prairie restoration is in progress. It will be worth it!

Walk the trails - keep your eyes out for the art of Chelsey Bahe, the "nature center artist" on tree stumps as you go! You never know what you will find.

When you get to the wide open area near the cache, enjoy the view. You are very near the highest point in St. Louis Park. (This is part of a Where's Waldo series - can you find the other characters?)

This cache was placed with the permission of the nature center staff.  If you enjoy, there are four more in the area.

Happy hunting. Please replace the cache exactly how you found it so it stays well hidden.
