Geocache Description:

Here at the FOTT we love a good road trip.  There is nothing better than hitting the road and seeing this great State of ours.  One way to make a road trip even better is to have some geocaching to do along the way.

This cache is a multi that takes you along the road to Northam.  At each stage you will need to gather a snippet of information to allow you to decipher the final location.  Heck, there may even be a cache or two close by.

This multi is designed to be completed in any order.  We will tell you though, that the final is located somewhere between Midland and Mundaring.

The posted co-ordinates place you in Midland.  Check out the waypoints below for the other stages along the Road to Northam.

Each Location has been allocated a letter between A and I. Collect the information at each location to get a value for each letter.

A - Midland - Find a plaque containing information about the Social, Water, History and Lost Lines. A is the number of letters in the last word on this plaque.

B - Mundaring - At the co-ords there is a historic property. Out the front is a wooden sign with 4 parts to it. The last word is contained in brackets. B is the number of letters in the brackets.

C - Sawyers Valley - Look for a phone Box and locate the Payphone Identification Number. C is the last digit of this number.

D - Chidlow - At the co-ords you will find a plaque. The Army Camps operated between two years. Add the last two digits of the first year together to get D.

E - El Caballo - On the sign, locate the second digit of the first year mentioned to get E.

F - Wundowie - The co-ords will bring you to a curved wall with a lot of plaques. On the end facing the carpark there are two rows of small plaques. F is the number of plaques in the top row.

G - Bakers Hill - The plaque you are looking for begins with the words "In memory" The number of letters of the last word in the third row is G.

H - Clackline - H is the number of letters in the surname of the sculptor mentioned.

I - Northam - At the co-ords is a plaque that is dedicated to a number of National Servicemen. I is the last digit of this number.
