Goulburn (and Region) Geocachers Get Together # 11 - Gurney VC CITO Time

A lot of the Rest Areas along the Federal and Hume Highways are dedicated to the memory of some of our Victoria Cross recipients. I'm sure you all know about these wonderful and brave Australians, and we are lucky enough to have had caches by Big Matt and Shell and Rapidlywild commemorating these worthy Australians and Rest Areas over the years. Alas these areas are at times not quite as 'tidy' as they should be. Gurney VC Rest Area is one of the larger ones and has a lot of visitors daily, and not everyone does the right thing with regards to their rubbish. This is where the Cachers of the Canberra and Goulburn Region can get together and make a difference. This is a perfect location for a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event to allow cachers to make a contribution to keeping our country tidy. So lets get together on Saturday afternoon 22nd June 2019 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm to clean up the area. I will supply gloves and garbage bags and will dispose of the full garbage bags afterwards.
