Masjid Selat is a beautiful gold-domed mosque located in Straits of Melaka with beautiful view during morning or dusk. The construction of mosque was completed in 2006 and the mosque's grand archways are panelled with stained glass. When water level of the STraits is high, the mosque appears to float. To enter the mosque, visitors are reminded to dress modestly and pay heed the 'no shoe' signs. As it is a religious place, visitors who are not appropriately dressed must bring a scarf or use a shawl to cover their head (women) and legs. Shawls are available from the counter for free for visitors who are not appropriately dressed.
