Geocache Description:

Great Marsh park used to be just that - a large marsh. Until semi-recent history when the city transformed it into a park. It hosts four very large events each year, 2 power boat races by the APBA, and 2 Ironman races; Ironman Eagleman and Ironman Maryland. It boasts a beautiful view of the Choptank River and Hambrooks Bay (off to the left). Bring the kids to play on the playgrounds, bring the boat or kayaks and launch off, or cast a line off of one of the piers. As in the name of the park, there is often a higher tide and wet grounds. Be prepared to get your feet wet.

The cache is a small waterproof container with a pen, logbook, and a small trinket for FTF. There is room for very small items and coins.

Do not park at the end of Talbot Ave. It is a residential area with nowhere to turn around. Use the park entrance. In the event of restricted vehicle access to the park, there is ample parking on nearby streets. As always please CITO too help keep the area beautiful.
