Sebeka is a very small town whose name comes from an Ojibwe word meaning "town by the water" and this park reflects that, situated on the banks of the Red Eye River, by being wet and squishy for a large portion of the non-snowy year :-) There is Disc Golf available so make sure to bring frisbees if you want to play while you Geocache. There are pavilions for bbqs, RV lots, tent spots and a nice playground. The river is shallow and there are some small fish and crawfish! DON'T leave your children unattended as the rocks are slippery and sharp and the river current is swift (specially after rains).
This cache is hidden as far from the River as possible while still being on the Park property, but we still got wet feet and knees while hidding it. Please make sure to hook the twine loop onto something so the container doesn't sail away. The FTF prize is handmade by Kerana5, you can either keep it as a knick knack or put a piece of ribbon on it to wear it as a necklace. Upload a picture so I can see what you've done with it, please!
Please, do NOT damage any trees, rocks, flowers, etc while searching for the cache. It's easy to find, but may be a little difficult to get to whithout loosing an eye ;-)
