This cache was hidden for the SAW X event. It is being published early to allow cachers to plan their routes, but with the intention that it not be found until after after 6 pm, August 16, 2019.
After spending 2 Summers in the Yuma Heat and finding it not suitable for the animals in the Ark, the Aliens have returned to Medicine Hat.
Note that this is the same bunch of incompetents that crashed during SAWVII.
This time however, they didn't hang around after their escape pod crashed. (Again?)
But they did leave a few hints as to where the Ark crashed.
When you get to ground zero, you must look around you to find the final 3 North and West coordinates. They will be found within 15 meters of GZ .
Plug these numbers into the following set: North 50 02.limegreen,darkblue,pink West 110 42.orange,yellow,magenta
The aliens have been on a long journey and have been keeping a running log of their adventures and of those they have met so, the log book already has some entries. Don't worry though, the FTF is still valid if you find the Ark first.
Please replace the Ark as found, watch out for curious muggles and animals (some of which may not like you being there).
Also, watch your step! The aliens weren't considerate enough to crash in a nice clear area like on their last visit.
Note that if you find a key with a tag on it in the Ark, you should be advised to obtain it and take it to the CARMHX event. (You may win something nice!)
There is also a stamper in the cache. Use it to mark your booklet in the appropriate place.
The Ark has crashed in a wooded area along the River. There is parking on the street near the posted Trailhead coordinates.
