St. Columba Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

TS32: Thank you to Death Walker to try and save this cache. We stopped by on Sunday and picked up the bag and log that was left. After looking at the area and the insect and animal activity, and how often this has gone missing, we decided not to replace this and just to archive it for now, and try to concentrate on better cache placement for future hides.

Fun fact, Caledonia is latin for "Scotland".

Saint Columba was an Irish abbot and missionary Evangelist credited with spreading Christianity in what is today Scotland at the start of the Hiberno-Scottish mission. He founded the important abbey on Iona, which became a dominant religious and political institution in the region for centuries.

In 1803 Caledonia was known as the town of what?
