Lake Ottawa is an awesome lake for fishing many species including walleye, pan fish, trout, and bass. However, due to the invasion of the rusty crayfish, fishing for large mouth and small mouth bass on Lake Ottawa is catch and release only. The recreational area includes swimming, fishing, tent/trailer camping, picnic tables, and toilets. A registration fee is required for day use of park, but for hikers there is no fee.
