Kätkö sijaitsee Ivalon lämpökeskuksen lähistöllä. Ivalon lämpökeskus on rakennettu vuonna 2000 ja se tuottaa kaukolämpöä 22 706 MWh. 98% lämmöstä tuotetaan uusiutuvilla polttoaineilla.

Lämpölaitoksen alueelle ei tarvitse eikä saa mennä. Oma kynä mukaan.
