Home to many first year students from all over the world! This dorm is what many students call their home away from home.
This dorm has 3 wings and holds a total of 12 halls with 10 of these being dorm halls. Each dorm hall has it's own specialization; these include: The Transfer Community(available only to residents who transfer into Western Oregon University), The Global Connections Community, The Business Community, The Future Educators Community, The Health Sciences Community, The Criminal Justice Community,The Creative Arts Community, The Outdoor Adventures Community, The American Sign Language Community, and finally The Honors Community.
Every year people make connections in their hall that will often last a lifetime; along with some amazing memories. I am creating this cache to allow me to place a special marker on my first Home away from Home. I want to remind myself of all the good times that I had in Ackerman.
