Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sulmierzyce - a Roman Catholic parish church in the city of Sulmierzyce. It is located at Nowa street. It belongs to the Zduny deanery. The three-nave temple, built in 1809 in the classical style, after a fire in 1878 rebuilt in 1879, with the addition of neo-Baroque elements, consecrated in 1895 by Archbishop Florian Stablewski. The 40-meter high tower is decorated with an onion-shaped dome and is located above the main entrance. The main nave is separated from the side aisles by eight pillars. Above the presbytery there is a small turret covered with zinc, in which there is a bell - a signature. Interior furnishings come from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries (including the early Baroque crucifix), and in the main altar there is a copy of the image of Our Lady of Borecka from 1634. It was founded by Zofia Marcinkowicz - the mother of the then Sulmierzyc parish priest - Wojciech Marcinkowicz. In the porch, there are epitaphs commemorating the four parish priests.
