Geocache Description:

Since publication this cache has been muggled twice - so we have switched this one to a cammo'd micro. **Updated 3/11/24** It's now a hanging bison. Please replace exactly where you found it.

🎼"Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star
Somebody thought of that
And someone believed it
And look what it's done so far" 🎶

(Paul Williams, who co-wrote the music and lyrics with Kenneth Ascher for Kermit the frog in The Muppet Movie, said in an interview that this part is the heart of the song. He said, "There is immense beauty in faith... If you have a creative thought and you have somebody to believe in what you're doing, and you have the element of faith involved, then we can do anything." He also said Kermit didn't have the answers, but he had faith they were out there.)

The Rainbow Bridge turned 100 years old this year (2019) and is still one of the most photographed spots on the American River. It started off as the American River Bridge at Folsom, but the iconic name came alive in the early 1950s as a more descriptive designation on postcards took hold and it became the Rainbow Bridge ever since. When it was built, the concrete arch was the fourth largest concrete arch span in the world. Quite the dream! 🌉

🎶"All of us under it's spell, we know that it's probably magic
Someday we'll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me"🌈

- Best sung by Kermit the Frog, my favorite muppet 🐸🎶 but try singing it while at the coords and enjoy the adventure in finding the answers...

It is NOT on the bridge. No Pedestrians allowed to walk across. Please use the reference point to find the Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail -  Folsom Historic Truss Bridge. Great place for photography. Photos of the American River and the Rainbow Bridge are acceptable to share (not the hide). Watch out for various types of muggles. Please, hide exactly as you found it. CITO if needed. I just filled a bag when placing this.

Contents of Medium Pelican container when hid: Logbook & pen, FTF Geocoin, Geocachers Hat pin, compass, handmade California Poppy pin, 3 TBs on missions
