Enjoy visiting different sites throughout the county with geocaches hidden from edge to edge. As you find each cache and discover new places, gather the codes to assemble and create the final phrase. Submit this to Tioga County Tourism to receive the prize for the tour completion.
This cache also has an arrowhead with “FTF” on it for the first geocacher that finds it, to turn in for an extra point or keep as a souvenir.
This cache is well inside the park and obviously along the blue trail. The container is just off of the trail 30-40 feet. There is a considerable amount of poison ivy in this park, but when placing this cache in late May the spot chosen was clear of it all around. However, you still should keep an eye out just to be safe. You are looking for a plastic ammo box with a write in the rain type logbook with a pencil. Plenty of room for swag and trackables.
The park is open all year round but only sunrise to sunset. This would be much more challenging when there is snow on the ground. If you look on google maps be sure to look at it in satellite view – it is NOT in the water.
