Geocache Description:

The Planets: Earth #3

Note: Cache is not at the posted coordinates

Sorry for the delay. I have been very busy lately. I Earth, more commonly known as the goldilocks planets, was formed about 4.5 billion years ago. The earth is also the only know astronomical object known to harbor life. A dense ball of gas also known as a nebula compressed and became a hot ball, making large clumps later forming our solar system. After that, these clumps collided together to form the earth. Then the earth cooled down and the spinning decreased. As it cool, earth's gasses contracted to form liquid and more dense material. The crust formed after that, then the water vaporized forming the atmosphere. Life was approaching due to the presence of water starting out with microorganisms, then forming into small fish then land animals. The most significant of the epochs was the Cambrian explosion around 541 million years ago. Then plants and photosynthesis created oxygen. About 4 million years ago humans first appeared. These humans were tired of chasing their food, so we then invented farming, which set the world into action. Followed by society. The earth sports a lot of cool features like weather, tectonic plates, the food chain, mountains, insects, animals, volcanoes etc. Now, lets get on with the cache.
