Stage actor Michael Collins redubbed Gert Fröbe as Auric Goldfinger, who spoke very little English. The only time his real voice was heard is during the meeting with members of the Mafia at Auric Stud.

Auric Goldfinger has plans in raiding Fort Knox in the US and causing the world economy to collapse. His plans are to spray Delta 9 Nerve Gas with the aid of Pussy Galore’s Flying Circus pilots over the gold depository area and also the United States base at Fort Knox. Goldfinger called his plan, “Operation Grand Slam”.
At the completion of spraying the nerve gas, all the depository guards were unconscious. Goldfinger arrives at Fort Knox after it was safe and opens the vault doors. Unbeknown to Goldfinger and Bond, who is a prisoner to Goldfinger, Pussy pilots Julie and Grace Wyeth, (pilot, navigator) land their airplane on the backside of the depository and puts on American soldiers uniform. Without being noticed, they enter the depository and locate the gold bullion and place 6 bars into a couple of empty ammunition containers. The girls return to their Piper airplane with the gold and fly back to Pussy Galore’s team. That same day, Grace ships the gold to her grandfather, Nathaniel (Wyeth) in Oregon, and tells him to hide it somewhere near Camp 21, a very old extinct CCC camp from the 1930’s.
Later on, United States Treasury Agents after reviewing the gold bullion inventory, find that some bars were missing from Fort Knox. The Treasury Agents contact Bond and Leiter asking if they saw anyone leaving Fort Knox that wasn’t accounted for. Felix remembers seeing an airplane take off after everyone was captured and Bond recalled the Piper airplane number, which was a N-Number: N8729W . After some investigation Felix found out who the identity of pilot during “Operation Grand Slam”. It was Julie Wyeth.
James and Felix went to Julie and Grace's apartment where they confessed for taking the gold bars. Grace said that she had shipped the bars out to her grandfather who lives in Oregon. Julie and Grace do not know where the gold is hidden other then it was near Camp 21. Grace mentioned that her grandfather had mailed a letter back to them with a bunch of numbers and letters on it, but they do not understand the meaning. Julie told James and Felix that she had tried calling her grandfather multiple times with no response. She finally found out through a hospital that her grandfather was in a coma after a very life-threatening stroke.
