Geocaching is a great way for families to get out into the fresh air and enjoy a fun and healthy activity together during the Covid-19 pandemic. To encourage more people to get out and geocache, I am removing the "Premium Only" designation from this and other caches to offer more choices for basic members to find. Cache on!
While searching for this cache you will follow the Swamp Forest Trail in the northern part of Veterans Park. Stay on improved trails until you are close to GZ. The area will be wet and muddy after periods of rain. During warmer weather this cache is protected by swarms of hungry mosquitos. Be sure to use insect repellent before you attempt to find this cache during mosquito season. The cache container has room for swag and a few adventurous Travel Bugs.. Please close container securely and replace in its' proper hiding spot. No night caching in the park.
