Ein kleiner Multi mit Ausgangspunkt bei der ältesten Linde Deutschlands. An den angegeben Koordinaten findet Ihr die wahrscheinlich älteste Linde Deutschlands. Das Final ist von den Koordinaten ca. 3km entfernt. Von der Linde aus führt ein Rundweg (Rundweg2) oder der mit einer blauen Raute markierte „Baierweg“ zum Final. In der Nähe des Aussichtspunkts befindet sich die Wallfahrtskapelle St. Ulrich, die normal abgeschlossen ist. Den Schlüssel für eine Besichtigung solltet Ihr auf Nachfrage in der Haidsteiner Hütte erhalten können. Historische Infos könnt Ihr hier nachsehen.

-Vorsicht bei nassem, rutschigem Wetter!

Now it is time for a new version… At the given coordinates you will find one of Germany’s oldest lime trees. The final location is about three kilometres away from the lime tree stage. Use the hiking way Number 2 to get there and back again. Also you can use the hiking way “Baierweg”, it’s marked with a blue rombus for your hike. If you not want to walk you can almost reach the location by car. Do it as you want, but do it…
You have to answer the following questions to get the final coordinates. The required information can be collected at the given coordinates of stage 1 or with Google’s help (Be careful, there are different information in the internet). The “correct” answers can be found on an information stone near the tree. The information is in German. Use the picture “Support for English speakers” to find the information which you are looking for. To make it more difficult for German speakers I had to censor most of the text. But it should be able for you to find the correct answers.

Nearby to the viewing point there’s a small pilgrimage church. Normally the church is closed. If you want to see the church inside you can ask during the opening times at the “Haidsteiner Hütte” for the key of the church. If you are interested in historical information, you can look here (unfortunately just in German) and translate it with google.
Important:
-You are moving in a nature reserve / biotope. You needn’t leave the official ways at any time!
-Be careful when it’s wet!
-Don’t lose sight of little children, as terrain fall off near to the viewing point.
