Geocache Description:


This cache is being placed to commemorate 50 years of marriage.  Our parents both lived in nearby Ste Genevieve. They met one another while working at the Orris movie theater. Dad was the projectionist and mom sold tickets and concessions. They were married on June 28th 1969 at the Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church and a reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Ste Genevieve.  In the vicinity of this cache Grandpa, Leonard Dallas (our mothers father), purchased and then owned property that was very important to him. The property is still in our family and continues to be a very important part of our lives today.

Parking is available within a few feet of the cache and you can easily turn around in most vehicles.  This road does service private residences. We have obtained permission to place this cache by the landowner.
