Geocache Description:

Honestly this is one of a few places where the Tom Thomson and the Bruce trail meet each other.  This cache could be considered a quick country park and grab, or the beginning or end of a nice trek along the trail.  Tom Thomson was a celebrated artist who is buried in Leith.  His art is reminisent of the Group of 7, had he not died in a tragic canoeing accident in Algonquin park our famous Group of 7 may have been the Group of 8!

This cache is loctated on the Tom Thomson trail. This portion of the trail has a no dogs policy due to the very close cattle fence, the cows ( and when I was there a horse) in here are very curious and will follow you along. They are on the other side of an electric wire. The trail signs ask that you give them distance and do not interact with them. If you are here just for the cache you can park along the road. This portion of the TT is a walking, ATV, snowmobile, and mountain bike trail so please be careful.
