Welcome to a wonderful conservation & environmental center.
In the garden outside of the building there is a wonderful place to learn about how to xeriscape and save water in our dry mountain environment. To find this cache you will need to walk around the garden and find a few markers that have some interesting information. You might need to follow the path around the building as there is more to see on the back side of the building! You can even charge your phone in using the solar panels in the back of the building for free! Everything outside the building is open to the public and always available to anyone.
To claim this cache you must find the markers in the area with the following information.
If no answers have been sent within 48 hours of logging the cache, the log will be deleted. You must email the answers to these questions to the cache owner to prove you have been to this location.
1: There is a Solar panel in the area, under it you will find out, How many days of Sun does Colorado have on average every year?
2: There is a sign in the area about the durable plants that we have in this region, What is the name of the plant that has upright spikes of blue flowers?
3: Landscaping can change your usage of water an incredible amount. Find the sign the has all the benefits of landscaping to find the percentage of a typical households monthly waterbill.
4. There is a marker to someone in the area that was dedicated on June16 1995, what is the name of the person on this marker?
