Marienkirche erleben!
Die Marienkirche in Prenzlau ist eines der bedeutendsten Bauwerke norddeutscher Backsteingotik des 13. und 14. Jahrhunderts. Informationen zu Geschichte und Baukunst findest Du z.B. auf Wikipedia.
Aber am besten ist es natürlich, die Kirche selbst zu erkunden. In jüngster Zeit wird einiges in der Kirche erneuert. Ein neues Gewölbe wurde bereits eingebaut und am 17. Mai 2020 eingeweiht. Um diesen Virtual loggen zu können, erkundest Du die Marienkirche jedoch von außen. Nimm Dir etwas Zeit, um dabei ein paar Fragen zu beantworten und künstlerisch tätig zu werden.
Gehe zu Wegpunkt 1. Dort findest Du am Fuße der Marienkirche ein Luther-Denkmal als Reminiszenz an die Reformation. Notiere Dir das 1. Wort der Inschrift auf der Rückseite des Denkmals = A
Gehe zu Wegpunkt 2. An der Turmseite befindet sich der Eingang zum Turmaufstieg. Auf einer Tafel rechts vom Tor siehst Du das Bild einer der Glocken der Marienkirche. Notiere Dir die römische Zahl aus der Inschrift der Glocke = B
Gehe zu Wegpunkt 3. Am Haupteingang der Marienkirche erfährst Du etwas über ein Ereignis zu Zeiten der schwedischen Herrschaft in Prenzlau. Notiere Dir das 3. Wort des blauen Schildes = C
Gehe zu Wegpunkt 4. Direkt am Mauerwerk des Ostgiebels findest Du das Zeichen der Ziegelei, die diese Steine brannte. Sie wurde vom Erfinder des Ringofens, Friedrich Hoffmann, gegründet. Notiere Dir das Wort in der letzten Zeile des Ziegelstempels = D

Suche Dir eine schöne Stelle und fotografiere Dein Kunstwerk so, dass es zusammen mit der echten Marienkirche und mit Dir oder mit etwas, dass Dir gehört, auf dem Foto ist.

Experience St. Mary's Church!
The St. Mary's Church in Prenzlau is one of the most important buildings of North German brickgothic of the 13th and 14th century. You can find information about history and architecture, e.g. on Wikipedia.
But it is best, of course, to explore the church itself. Recently, some things have been renewed in the church. A new vault has already been installed and inaugurated on May 17, 2020. In order to log this Virtual, you explore the St. Mary's Church from the outside. Take some time to answer a few questions and become artistically active.
Go to waypoint 1. There you will find a monument to Luther at the foot of the St. Mary's Church as a reminiscence of the Reformation. Write down the first word from the inscription of the back of the monument = A

Go to waypoint 4. Directly on the masonry of the east gable you will find the sign of the brickyard that burned these stones. It was founded by the inventor of the ring furnace, Friedrich Hoffmann. Write down the word from the last line of the hallmark of the brick = D
