This virtual cache is part of Geacaching HQ's 2019 release of 4,000 new virtual reward geocaches. There is no physical cache here, instead just a task to complete at the coordinates to claim the find. As with all caches, especially those on our public lands, please cache in and trash out. Lima Mountain is a 2238 foot summit in Cook County, Minnesota with a 1 mile trail to the summit. There was once a fire tower once at the summit. The trail to the summit begins along Lima Grade road (Forest Route 315). To claim this find please post a photo of your GPS or yourself and your GPS at the summit. Logs without photos will be deleted.
This cache is named after the song “Mountain Sound” by Of Monsters and Men. Great hiking music if you need some tunes to get you to the top. Listen to the lyrics:
