Welcome to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown!
The Baseball Hall of Fame opened June 12, 1939 and has amassed a collection of more than 40,000 baseball artifacts. The museum is open year round with peak season being the summer months when professional baseball is in session. The highlight of the Baseball Hall of Fame is the Annual Induction Ceremony which takes place in August when the museum can see up to 3,000 visitors per day. Even if you are not a fan of baseball you will be intrigued by all the Hall of Fame has to offer with interactive displays, National History and player biographies.
This virtual cache exists outside the museum, is handicap accessible and does not require admission to the museum. Parking can be very difficult here during peak season. Please abide by all parking regulations.
