Vasaloppsstenen
Denna historiska plats tar nog fram känslor hos de allra flesta av oss. Oavsett om du stått på startlinjen otaliga gånger, eller om det närmaste du kommit är frukostunderhållningen i soffan framför TVn, den första söndagen i mars varje år. I vilket fall har Vasaloppet gått av stapeln sedan 1922.
Vid Vasaloppsstarten finns Vasaloppsstenen som är ett minnesmärke över Vasaloppets samtliga segrare.
Monumentet består av en cirka 5,5 meter hög och cirka 5,5 ton tung spetsad obelisk i rödaktig granit.
KRAV: För att logga denna virtuella geocache, måste du besöka de publicerade koordinaterna och ta en bild på dig (ansikte frivilligt) med statyn (stenen) i bakgrunden, som du sedan bifogar i loggen.
(Om området kring stenen inte skulle vare tillgängligt, tex vid evenemang, så kan skylten vid infarten användas istället)
REQUIREMENTS: To log this virtual geocache, you need to visit the published coordinates and take a picture of you (face optional) with the statue (stone) in the background, which you then attach to the log.
(If the area around the stone isn't avalible, at events for example, then the sign at the entrance can be used instead)
