Mermaid of Lake Lohja - Virtual Reward 2.0 Virtual Cache

In the location, there is a rock that may be under the surface of water during flood. And be aware that there's another rock fully under the surface of water just some meters south-east of the location. Lots of boats have crashed here in the past, before the mermaid rose up to the rock. Safest way to pass the location is west of mermaid.

To claim this cache as found, go to the given coordinates and take one close-up photo of mermaid with your geocaching nick and/or avatar visible in the picture like in the description. Place the photo on your log. Photos taken from the lakeshore are not accepted. After taking the picture, do not crop or edit the photo in any way!

The location is pretty close to the shore, so you it is possible to reach using swimming mattress. Please note that there is pretty hard stream (even it don't look like it), so in winter the ice may be thinner than it appears. Use common sense and proper safety equipment. Annetuissa koordinaateissa on kivi, joka tulvan aikaan voi olla veden pinnan alla. Ja tiedoksi: toinen kivi on kokonaan veden pinnan alla joitakin metrejä kaakkoon paikasta. Moni vene on tähän karahtanut takavuosina eli ennen kuin vedenneito nousi kivelle. Turvallisinta on ohittaa merenneito länsipuolelta.

Voidaksesi kuitata kätkön löydetyksi mene annettuihin koordinaatteihin ja ota yksi lähikuva vedenneidosta siten, että kuvassa näkyy myös kätköilijänimimerkkisi ja/tai avatarisi, katso malli kuvauksesta. Paikka on lähellä rantaa, joten siihen pääsee vaikkapa uimapatjalla. Huomioi, että paikassa on melkoinen virtaus (vaikkei ehkä siltä näytä) ja talvella jää saattaa olla ohuempaa kuin miltä se näyttää. Käytä maalaisjärkeä ja kunnollisia turvavarusteita. Lähin veneenlaskupaikka löytyy reittipisteistä.
