Den Uendelige Bro

Skulptur ved Varna Palæet i forbindelse med Sculpture by the Sea 2015 Aarhus, 2015
[Scenarie]

The Infinite Bridge Sculpture at the Varna Palace in connection with Sculpture by the Sea 2015 Aarhus, 2015
[Scenario]
From 1897 until the Second World War, steamers sailed from the city along the coast towards Riis Forest in the north and Marselisborg forest in the south. Along the coast were a number of docks, among other things. at the Varna Palace in the Marselisborg forest, which was a favorite destination for the city's citizens. The sailing routes connected the city, the bay and the characteristic forest landscape along the coast, which gives the city its unique identity.
The infinite bridge re-establishes contact between the coast and the bay at the historic site where the jetty at the Varna Palace was located. From the bridge, the city, forest and bay are perceived as an endless panoramic composition unfolding in step with one's movement across the water.
