Muglins Island
Muglins Island is an impressive place to visit - particularly on a calm day in the height of summer - but you will need a kayak or some sort of boat in order to get there. But be aware, you can't actually land on the island itself as it is a bird sanctuary - so no picnics I'm afraid - but there is superb lighthouse at the top that was crying out for a virtual geocache.
Additionally, Muglins is a very popular spot for scuba-divers and weekend sailors - and particularly those that like geocaching
Logging Requirements
To log this virtual, please take a close-up photograph of yourself or your geocaching device with the lighthouse and its RED ENTRANCE DOOR in the background. The photo must be taken at the posted coordinates for the photo to count. So photos taken with a zoom lens from the mainland or Dalkey Island won't cut it.
