Chänzeli
Im Herzen der Schweiz findet sich ein Aussichtspunkt von dem aus sich das alte Land Schwyz und die Urkantone in prächtiger Weise zeigen. Knapp 100 m über dem Ort Brunnen liegt das Chänzeli, welches eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den Vierwaldstättersee und die imposante Bergwelt bietet. Im Westen sind die Urkantone Ob- und Nidwalden und im Süden Uri zu sehen. In Richtung Süd-Südwest liegt das Rütli, wo die Eidgenossenschaft der Legende nach gegründet wurde. Weit unter dem Aussichtspunkt führt die lärmige Axenstrasse durch, welche den Norden der Schweiz mit dem sonnigen Süden verbindet. Besonders Imposant sind die Sonnenuntergänge im Westen, oft endet der Tag mit einem herrlichen Abendrot, das von hier aus besonders gut zu sehen ist.
Um das Chänzeli zu erreichen folgst Du von Brunnen aus dem Weg der Schweiz. Der durchgehend breite Weg führt Dich langsam ansteigend durch den Wald hoch bis zur zur Aussichtsplattform. Je nach Tempo erreichst Du das Ziel in rund 30min.
Logbedingungen:
Mache beim Aussichtspunkt ein Foto welches die folgenden Bedingungen erfüllt:
- Du oder zumindest ein Teil von Dir muss sichtbar sein (das Gesicht muss nicht zu sehen sein).
- Ein Zettel mit Deinem Cachernamen und dem aktuellen Datum ist zusehen.
- Auf dem Foto muss der Vierwaldstättersee mit dem Bergpanorama zu sehen sein.
Füge das Foto Deinem Log bei.
Logs, welche diese Logbedingung nicht erfüllen, werden kommentarlos gelöscht.

Chänzeli
In the heart of Switzerland you will find a vantage point from which the ancient land of Schwyz and the original cantons can be seen in splendour. The Chänzeli is just 100 m above Brunnen and offers a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne and the impressive mountain world. To the west are the original cantons of Obwalden and Nidwalden and to the south Uri. To the south-southwest is the Rütli, where, according to legend, the Swiss Confederation was founded. Far below the view point, the noisy Axen road runs through, connecting the north of Switzerland with the sunny south. The sunsets in the west are particularly impressive; the day often ends with a magnificent sunset, which can be seen especially well from here.
To reach the Chänzeli, follow the Swiss Path from Brunnen. The wide path leads you slowly uphill through the forest to the viewing platform. Depending on your pace, you will reach your destination in around 30 minutes.
Log conditions:
Take a photo at the viewpoint that fulfils the following conditions:
- You or at least a part of you must be visible (the face does not have to be shown).
- A note with your cacher name and the current date is visible.
- The photo must show Lake Lucerne with the mountain panorama.
Attach the photo to your log.
Logs that do not meet these requirements will be deleted without comment.
