Virtual Reward 2.0 - Wetterse Oorlogsslachtoffers Virtual Cache

Begeef je naar het monument waarvan je de coördinaten kan vinden bij de listing van deze 'Virtuele Cache'. Je bent hier op de 'Gemeentelijke begraafplaats Centrum' van Wetteren. Deze begraafplaats is vrij toegankelijk, maar toch vragen we om het nodige respect aan de dag te leggen en de openingsuren te respecteren.
De begraafplaatsen zijn toegankelijk voor het publiek:
            op werkdagen: van 08.00 tot 12.00 en van 14.00 tot 17.00
            op zaterdagen, zondagen en wettelijke feestdagen: van 10.00 tot 12.00 en van 14.00 tot 17.00
            op 1 en 2 november: van 08.00 tot 17.00

Aan dit monument kan je een aantal hints vinden om het uiteindelijke doel van deze 'Virtuele Cache' te vinden. Het monument is opgericht ter nagedachtenis van de 6 Wetterse slachtoffers die omkwamen in het concentratiekamp 'Neuengamme'.
Op dit monument staat in grote vergulde letters 'Gedenk O Mens' opdat deze gruwel nooit meer zou vergeten worden.
Sta hier dan ook even stil om de slachtoffers van alle oorlogen te herdenken.
Let op, want ook hier moet je een opdracht vervullen. Daar hebben we het later over.

1. Aan het monument vind je 2 gedenkstenen met een aantal namen van burgerlijke slachtoffers van WO II. Stel het totale aantal namen gelijk aan A (niet stapeltellen).
2. Verder kan je er een aantal 'grafstenen' of 'gedenkstenen' vinden. Het aantal is E (niet stapeltellen).
3. Hoeveel 'grafstenen' zijn voor weerstanders ? Dit is B (niet stapeltellen).
4. Hoeveel 'grafstenen' zijn voor politieke gevangenen? Dit is C (niet stapeltellen).
5. Hoeveel 'grafstenen' zijn voor militairen? Dit is D (niet stapeltellen).

Bereken nu de plaats van de final van deze 'Virtuele Cache' met de volgende formule:

 A*((B*4)+C) + (E-B) ==> meter
(2C*D) + (((E-D)*(C/2))-C) ==> Graden.

Ook hier sta je aan een monument uit WO II. Toon ook hier het nodige respect.

Nu de opdracht van deze hele cache:

1. Maak een foto van jezelf met je GPS voor het monument op WP 1. Je gezicht moet niet herkenbaar zijn (maar het mag natuurlijk wel), maar je GPS wel. Het monument en je GPS of jezelf moeten dus duidelijk herkenbaar zijn.
2. Maak een foto van jezelf (ZONDER GPS - of toch zonder zichtbare coördinaten) voor het monument op de final. Je gezicht hoeft hier ook niet herkenbaar of zichtbaar te zijn, maar het mag wel natuurlijk).
3. Voeg beide foto's toe aan je log. Je hoeft niet te wachten op goedkeuring om te mogen loggen. Als er iets verkeerd is zal ik wel contact opnemen. Logs zonder foto's zullen zonderwaarschuwing verwijderd worden!

Go to the monument at the grids you received with the listing of this 'Virtual Cache'. You are at the 'Community Cemetery Centre' of Wetteren. This cemetery is free to visit, but we ask you to pay resect for the place you are and to respect the opening hours.
The cemeteries are open for visitors:
            on working days: from 08.00 until 12.00 and from 14.00 until 17.00
            Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays: from 10.00 until 12.00 and from 14.00 until 17.00
            on November 1st and 2nd: from 08.00 until 17.00

At this monument you will find some clues to get to the final of this 'Virtual Cache'. This monument is installed to commemorate the 6 inhabitants of Wetteren that died at the 'Neuengamme' Concentration Camp.
On this monument is written in big golden characters 'Gedenk O mens', this means 'Remember O Man' to invite us never to forget this cruelty.
Take a moment at this place to remember all the victims of all wars.
Take care, there is a mission to complete also, this will be explained later.

1. At the monument there are 2 smaller memorial stones with a number of names of civilian victims (burgerlijke slachtoffers). Their total amount is A (don't sum it to one digit).
2.  There are also some 'tombstones' or 'memorial stones'. Their total number is E (don't sum it to one digit).
3. How many tombstones are for members of the resistance (weerstanders)? This is B (don't sum it to one digit).
4. How many tombstones are for political prisoners (politieke gevangenen)? This is C (don't sum it to one digit).

Now your mission(s):

1. Make a picture of yourself with your GPS in front of the monument at WP1. Your face does not have to be visible (it is allowed of course), but your GPS and/or you and the monument have to be visible.
2. Make a picture of yourself (WITHOUT GPS - or at least without visible grids) in front of the monument at the final. Your face does not have to be visible (it is allowed of course).
3. Post both pictures with your log. You don't have to wait to log, if something is not right, I will contact you. Logs without pictures will be deleted without warning!
